everything over the past week did not make a whole lot of sense to the young english girl. she had arrived in arietta a while back, and never thought she would end up staying in a bed and breakfast with a friend. not when she traveled all this way to see one person. she was suppose to be with him. not roaming around the city not knowing what to do. the events that had taken place with evelyn and micah were something she did not see coming. there was nothing that her and micah had talked about that led her to believe he was goign to hurt her in the manner that he did.not that he actually physically hurt her. no. micah would not do that to her, or so she hoped. it was a hurt of the heart that she had never felt before. one that kept her up a lot of the nights since she left his house, and one that she was not sure she could get over without talking to him. not just talking to him on the phone, but talking to him in person. this had to happen. she had to get over the fear that was inside her, and she had to call him. that was exactly what she did. that morning she picked up her phone and dialed the young man, informing him it was time that they talked. she had had enough time away from him, and when being away from micah did not help she knew something had to be done. now.. well it was around six o'clock and she told him she would meet him in the parking lot of the b&b she ws staying in. that she did. with her hair pulled back in a messy ponytail, and not a smudge of makeup on her face, the girl walked right up to his truck and opened the door. she did not say a word for a long moment, she just leaned over and wrapped her arm around his shoulder and gave him the best inside a truck hug that she could muster before sitting back down, buckling up and turning to face him. "I'm sorry it took me so long... it just... i had to get over a lot of things... this was something new to me... and i'm just glad that you are still willing to talk to me." her voice was soft, but her green-blue eyes were locked on his as she offered him the best smile she had. "now... were are we driving too.."

Micah was the kind of guy that liked to live life without regrets, and often times thought that such a thing didn’t even exist. How could you regret something when at the time, it was exactly what you wanted? How could you regret an experience that taught you a lesson in life and kept you moving forward? That had always been his way of thinking and a thought that he lived much of his life by, but this? This might be something that he would never be able to get over and not regret it. Feia was a very special individual that made Micah feel things that he had never felt in any other of his romantic relationships. She was beautiful, her accent was adorable, and every single little quirk and mannerism she had Micah found absolutely endearing. She wasn’t just one of those women that he could fall into bed with and move on, and she wasn’t a girl that he could fall in and out of love with just like that. Micah wanted another shot with her, and wanted to see where a lasting relationship would take them. But, he had pretty much shot that one in the face by failing to be there for her and by spreading himself too thinly. He knew his reasons were shit, but in his mind they had made perfect sense as to why he had just needed some more time, and a little bit of freedom to tie up those loose ends. When Feia had found out about Evelyn and the fact that Micah had been sleeping with her, all of that had gone out the window and she had left, going to stay at the local bed and breakfast and not speaking to Micah at all. It wasn’t like he could blame her, either. He had been a jackass, and he deserved what he got. But, when he had seen her number lighting up the screen on his cell phone, Micah hadn’t even hesitated in answering and agreeing to go pick the girl up. If she was willing to give him a chance, he was going to take it and do everything in his power to set this thing right. It didn’t take him long to arrive at the B&B parking lot, and Feia climbed on up into his truck and surprisingly offered him a small hug. Then she was fastening her seat belt and Micah when ahead and drove the truck from the lot, eyes careful to watch the road even though he really wanted to be watching her. “Are you kidding? I’m the one that’s lucky you even want anything to do with me… But I figured I’d just drive until I got down to the beach or something. Is there anywhere you’d like go?” He glanced over at her, offering her a small smile before his eyes were back on the road, having to stop a stop sign momentarily before proceeding forward.
